VILLAGE PUB & DINING
We’ve made some changes to keep both you and our staff safe:
If you are feeling at all unwell, please save your visit to us for another day.
We will be asking for contact details from a member of each party as per the Government requirements to ‘Test and trace’ if needed.
While you’re in the pub and garden please respect yours and others personal space by maintaining a safe distance where possible.
We will be asking our customers to wait at the door for a member of our team to take you to your table, and to sanitise your hands on the way into the pub. This gives us chance to explain how things work and to also keep an eye on the number of people we have in the pub at any one time.
Indoor gatherings should be in groups of up to two households (including support bubbles). Outdoor gatherings of 6 people or less can be from any number of households. If your outdoor gathering is of 7 people or more then all should be from no more than two households (or support bubbles).
Those without bookings may be asked to queue and we’ll try our best to get everyone a table, however it may not always be possible.
There is regular cleaning going on in the pub; all our team will be washing their hands and sanitising ‘touch points’ regularly. The tables and chairs will be cleaned after each customer.
We’ll do our utmost to keep a safe distance where possible when taking orders and serving your table.
To reduce our ‘contact’ with cutlery, we’re wrapping the knives, forks in napkins placing them on your table. All condiments are provided in sachets for your safety.
We have spaced our tables and chairs carefully to give you as much space as possible following the current Government guidelines. We also respectfully ask that you don’t move tables around.
Menus will only be used once and recycled afterwards.
To keep you and our staff safe we won’t be offering service at the bar, instead we will look after you at your table.
We’d prefer contactless card payments wherever possible however if cash is the only option we’re not going to refuse it!
Our toilets will be regularly cleaned and numbers visiting them at any one time will be restricted.
Much as they like to, please don’t let them wander. Play equipment in our gardens are also temporarily out of action. We regret that at this time dogs are not allowed inside.
Our outside tables are not available to book, however a controlled queuing system will be in place at busy times. We also respectfully ask that you don’t move tables around.
We hope these changes will reassure you and please speak to use if you have any suggestions or concerns.
